General Offers Settings

General Offer Settings allow users to configure offer rules that apply across the system.

Permissions Required
  • Utilities > Settings > Update Offers Settings

  1. From the Utilities Menu, go to Settings > Offers.

  2. Go to General Offers Settings section.

Add Holiday Breaks to Offer Course Item Notes

This option controls whether Offer or Faculty Holidays that overlap an offer course item’s period are automatically added and removed form the item’s notes.

  • When enabled

    Holiday information is inserted into course item Notes and updated automatically when holidays are added, edited, or removed—no manual editing is required.

  • When disabled

    The system does not insert or update holiday information in course item Notes. (Any holiday information already present remains unchanged.)

Example

  • Offer Course item: 1 Jan–28 Feb

    • Add Summer Break (15–21 Jan) → Holiday information is inserted into the Notes.

    • Add Mid‑term Break (10–12 Feb) later → The new holiday information is inserted into the Notes, and the Notes update automatically.

    • Remove Summer Break → Only the Summer Break information is removed from the Notes; other holiday information remains.
