English Australia (EA) Reports

English Australia conducts an annual national survey to collect market performance data from ELICOS providers across Australia. The survey requires aggregated enrolment data only and does not include any personal or identifiable student information.

eBECAS provides a dedicated report that aligns with the English Australia survey rules. The report is designed to help providers extract the required data quickly and accurately, without manual calculations or data manipulation.

Generate the English Australia Survey Annual Report

The following report outputs one row per enrolment and includes the required metrics such as student nationality, enrolment length in weeks, and visa held. It applies the enrolment date rules specified by English Australia to ensure the data reflects the correct reporting period.

1. From the navigation menu, go to Reports > Marketing > EA Statistics

2. Select the following options:

   1. Faculty Type: Language

   2. Data Range: The reporting period

   3. Options:

      1. Select Standard

      2. Select Details to include the students details.

3. Click on Excel Merge to export the data.

This report includes additional fields to help you identify the source of the data. These fields must be removed before submitting the report to English Australia.

The report submitted to English Australia should follow the structure shown below. All other columns can be removed. If you wish to further de-identify students, the student number may be replaced with any other reference number.
