Permissions
Permissions refer to the specific rights or privileges granted to users, allowing them to perform certain actions or access particular resources in the system.
It is recommended to assign permissions to users using roles. This will simplify the assignment and maintenance of the permissions.
If you need to assign specific permissions to a user, follow the steps below.
Assigning permissions to Roles
Start from the Roles tab of Edit a role
Select the permissions to assign
Click Save
Assigning permissions to User
Start from the Security Overrides tab on Edit a user
Select the permissions to assign
Click Save
To prevent unintended assignment of permissions, it is recommended to create roles and assign them instead of relying on Security Overrides. This approach ensures better control and avoids potential issues associated with granting permissions directly.
