Subject & Course Pre-requisites Management
NEW VERSION 12.6.5.0 NEW PERMISSION REQUIRED
A new Subject Requirements feature has been introduced, allowing you to define pre-requisite subjects that must be completed before a student can be assigned to a class.
Pre-requisites can be configured at both the Subject level and the Course level. Students cannot be assigned to classes or have their result status updated until all required pre-requisite subjects are completed.
Using the 18.1 Result Import, it is possible to override these conditions and assign students to classes even if the pre-requisites have not been met.

Multiple Enrolment Awards
NEW VERSION 12.6.5.0
A new Multiple Enrolment Awards feature has been added, allowing multiple awards to be recorded against a single enrolment.
In addition to the existing Enrolment Award (Final), multiple other awards can now be managed and merged into documents, either individually or in bulk.

New Student Gender List
NEW VERSION 12.6.5.0
New options have been added to the Gender options to align with the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Standard for Sex, Gender, Variations of Sex Characteristics, and Sexual Orientation variables.
These options are reported to TCSI and AVETMISS as follows:

New Fee Exempt Expiry Date Field for Enrolment AVETMISS

A new Fee Exempt Expiry field has been added to the Enrolment AVETMISS section in 1.3 Enrolment Details, allowing you to record the expiry date of a fee exemption. This field is also available in the 1.4 VET & HE Enrolment Search.
Gender Field Available in 1.8 VET&HE Results Search

The Student Gender field has been added to the 1.8 VET & HE Results Search.
Indigenous Status and Disability Fields Available in 1.4 VET&HE Enrolment Search

The Indigenous Status and Disability AVETMISS fields are now available in the 1.4 VET & HE Enrolment Search.
Employer Invoiced(WA) Field Moved to 1.331 Results
NEW VERSION 12.6.5.0
The Employer Invoiced (WA) field has been moved from the Enrolment AVETMISS section in 1.3 Enrolment Details to the 1.331 Results Edit, allowing it to be set at the individual result level.
Export AVETMISS Fields Option for Enrolment in Period Reports

A new Export AVETMISS option has been added to Enrolment in Period Reports, allowing AVETMISS fields to be included in the export.
Default Local Outcome(WA) Configuration via VET Contracts
NEW VERSION 12.6.5.0
A new option has been added to the Funding Pattern section of 12.092104 VET Contracts, allowing a default Local Outcome (WA) to be applied to results when an enrolment is created.
This setting only applies to enrolments created after the configuration is enabled.
Local Outcome (WA) Supported in Canvas Grade Mapping

Canvas Grade Mapping has been updated to allow mapping of Local Outcome (WA).
Reports Updates
Account Manager Field Added in Agent Listing Report (12.062)
NEW VERSION 12.6.5.0 PORTAL POWER BI
The Account Manager field of Agents has been added to the Agent Listing Report (12.062). This update applies on reports across eBECAS/EDMISS Classic, the Portal, and Power BI.
Weekly Tasks Updates
Control Automatic Award Status Updates
NEW VERSION 12.6.5.0
A new option has been added under Setup Configuration > Option > VET to prevent Enrolment Award Status from being automatically updated based on Result Status during Weekly Tasks.
This option is disabled by default.
Automatic Student Portal Unregistration
NEW VERSION 12.6.5.0
A new option has been added under Setup Configuration > Option > Student to automatically unregister students from the Student Portal after their enrolment ends and a specified number of weeks has passed.
This option is disabled by default.
CoE Attendance Calculation Based on Enrolment Period
NEW VERSION 12.6.5.0
A new option has been added under Setup Configuration > Option > General to calculate CoE Attendance using the period of the enrolment linked to the CoE, rather than the CoE period itself.
By default, this option is disabled and CoE Attendance continues to be calculated using the CoE period.
