May 2026 delivers another major step forward for Next Generation, with smarter workflows, greater flexibility, and usability improvements across the platform.
This release introduces powerful new instalment generation options for Offers, a redesigned and faster product selection experience, smarter automation for the Students and Teachers Portals, and a range of enhancements focused on simplifying everyday tasks and reducing manual work.

🔥Offers Updates
Faster and Smarter Product Search
NEW NEXTGEN ONLY
The Product Search dropdown in Offer and Invoice Items has been completely redesigned to make finding products faster and easier.
Products are now displayed in a cleaner, grid-based layout with more useful information visible directly in the search window. Familiar tools such as Column Chooser, Expand/Collapse All, and advanced filtering options help users quickly narrow down products by Location, Faculty, Company, and Product Tags.
The new experience is designed to reduce clicks, improve visibility, and help staff find the right product more efficiently.

Greater Flexibility in the Offer Instalments Generator
NEW NEXTGEN ONLY
Creating accurate and flexible instalment schedules in Next Generation is now easier than ever.
A new instalment generation option has been added to provide greater flexibility when preparing payment schedules.
Unlike the existing instalment generation methods, this new option evenly distributes the total amount across the selected number of instalments, regardless of the study period covered or any holidays. This ensures all instalments are created with the same amount.
If any instalment due dates fall outside the course period, a warning message will be displayed so users can review and adjust the schedule before creating the instalments.

📚Students Updates
More Flexible File Names for Bulk Student Picture Uploads
NEW NEXTGEN ONLY
When uploading student pictures in bulk, the file names must normally match the Student Number exactly.
We have improved the student matching process to provide greater flexibility. If your Student Number policy includes leading zeros, image file names can now use the Student Number without the leading zeros and the match will still work correctly.

Clearer Student Gender Labels
The Student Gender field labels have been simplified. Male/Men and Female/Women are now displayed as Male and Female.

Bank Accounts Settings in Next Generation
NEW NEW PERMISSION REQUIRED
A new Bank Accounts setup page has been added to Next Generation, allowing institutions to manage bank account details directly in our web-based platform.
🔥User Interface Updates
View Documents Without Downloading

A new Document Viewer has been added to Next Generation. PDF and image files can now be viewed directly within the Next Generation web page, reducing the need to download files or open them separately.

🧊Equator CRM App Updates
Smarter Opportunity Builder for Guest Forms
NEW NEXTGEN ONLY
The Opportunity Builder used in Guest Forms has been improved to provide a cleaner and more relevant selection experience.
Products that are not published will no longer display in the Opportunity Builder. In addition, locations and faculties without any published products will also be automatically hidden.
Equator CRM App Configuration
NEW NEXTGEN ONLY
A dedicated Configuration page has been added to the Equator CRM app details page. This page allows users to set the API user used for entering data from Guest Forms. This setting has been moved from the previous Equator API App Configuration page.

Equator API: Test Connection

Users can now quickly test the connection to the API server using the current credentials directly from the configuration page, making setup and troubleshooting easier.

Expiry Date for Student/Teacher Portal News
NEW STUDENT PORTAL
A new Expiry Date option has been added for News entries published to the Student and Teacher Portals. When an expiry date is set, the news entry will automatically expire on that date and will no longer be displayed in the portals.
