Welcome to the June 2026 Release Updates.
This month's release introduces our new Student Self Class Allocation feature for Academic courses, along with a range of enhancements across Next Generation, including improved student insurance management, earlier Flywire payment allocation, smarter offer creation, better document handling, and usability improvements.
Here’s what’s new. ✨
🔥New Student Self Class Allocation
new
We're excited to introduce Student Self Class Allocation, a new optional feature designed for academic courses, particularly Higher Education.
Students can now select their preferred subjects and classes for their upcoming term directly through the Student Portal. Staff can review each student's selections, make adjustments where required, and confirm the final allocation, providing a more streamlined and collaborative allocation process while institutions retain full control over the outcome.
This feature is optional and requires additional configuration by your institution before it can be enabled. If you do not enable it, your existing enrolment and class allocation processes will continue to operate as usual.
Contact our Support Team for more information or assistance with setting up this feature.
📄Offers Updates
Course Intake Length Applied to Offer Course Items
new
When adding a course to an Offer, the Course Length is now automatically populated from the selected intake when the intake has a defined length. This reduces manual data entry and helps ensure course durations are applied consistently.
Location Filter Now Pre-selects the Course Location
new nextgen only
Adding Offer Items and Invoice Items is now faster. The Location filter is automatically pre-selected based on the location of the course in the associated Offer or Enrolment, helping you find the relevant items more quickly.
When an Offer contains multiple courses, the location of the course selected before clicking New Item is used to pre-select the Location filter.
📝Students Updates
Manage Student Insurance Records Directly in Next Generation
New Permission Required
Student insurance records can now be managed directly from the Insurance tab on the Student Details page. Whether the insurance was arranged externally or added through offers and enrolments, you can now create, update, and remove insurance records from a single, central location.
🗄️Document Store Updates
Upload EML and MSG Files to the Document Store
The Document Store now supports uploading email files in EML and MSG formats, making it easier to store email correspondence alongside other documents.
Open Document Details with a Double Click
new nextgen only
Opening document details is now quicker and more convenient. Simply double-click a document entry to open its details without using the context menu or additional actions.
🧊Apps Updates
Flywire: Allocate/Reconcile Payments in Guaranteed Status
new nextgen only
A new option has been added to the Flywire Configuration that allows payments to be allocated and reconciled when they reach the Guaranteed status in Flywire. By default, only payments in the Delivered status are available for reconciliation.
Enabling this option allows institutions to allocate and reconcile payments sooner, without waiting for Flywire to transition them to Delivered, which may take additional time.
In very rare cases, a payment in Guaranteed status may not progress to Delivered, such as when it is later identified as fraudulent by Flywire. For more information about the Flywire payment lifecycle, please contact your Flywire representative.
📃 Templates Update
Improved Bookmark Search with Highlighted Results
nextgen only
Finding the right bookmark is now faster and easier. Search matches are highlighted as you type, and each bookmark now displays the bookmark name used in the editor, making it easier to identify and locate the correct bookmark.
⌨️User Interface Updates
Use Keyboard Shortcuts to Expand or Collapse All Items and Sections
new nextgen only
Keyboard shortcuts are now available for the Expand All and Collapse All actions throughout Next Generation.
-
Use Ctrl + Alt + E on Windows or Cmd + Alt + E on Mac to expand all items.
-
Use Ctrl + Alt + C on Windows or Cmd + Alt + C on Mac to collapse all items.
