October 2024 Updates (Classic)

Welcome to the October 2024 updates!

This month, we’re rolling out a report to help colleges (both VET and Higher Education) estimate their current and future NOSC numbers. We’ve also added new class types and set a new limit for file uploads in the system.

New Overseas Student Commencements (NOSC) Report

BETA VERSION 12.2.1.1 VET AND HIGHER ED ONLY

We have added a new report to estimate the NOSC figures for past, present, and future (forecast) periods. This report is designed to assist colleges in estimating and tracking their numbers in relation to their allocated cap. Learn more about this report here.

New Class Types Added

VERSION 12.2.1.1

A Laboratory and a Workshop class type have been added. These class can now be selected when scheduling the sessions for a class.

New File Size Limit

VERSION 12.2.1.1

A file size limit has been implemented for uploads in eBECAS/EDMISS Classic, as well as in the student and teacher portals. An error message will now appear when attempting to upload files exceeding 20 MB.
