Zapier App

The Zapier App allows you to connect eBECAS/EDMISS with more than 9,000 applications through Zapier.

About the Zapier

Zapier is an automation platform that connects different applications and allows information to move between them using automated workflows called Zaps.

Using Zapier, you can create workflows that respond to events in eBECAS/EDMISS and exchange information with other applications used by your organisation.

For example, a Zap could use information to:

  • Add or update records in another application.

  • Send notifications or messages.

  • Add information to spreadsheets or reporting tools.

  • Start workflows in other business systems.

The available automation options depend on the triggers and actions supported by the Equator IT Zapier integration and the applications you connect to it.

How It Works

A Zap is an automated workflow made up of a trigger and one or more actions.

For example:

  1. An event occurs in eBECAS/EDMISS.

  2. The event triggers the Zap.

  3. Zapier sends the relevant information to another connected application.

  4. The configured action is performed automatically.

Zaps can also use supported events from other applications to perform actions in eBECAS/EDMISS.

Integration Management

The eBECAS/EDMISS Zapier integration is developed and maintained by Equator IT.

Zapier and any applications connected through Zapier are third-party services. Your organisation is responsible for ensuring that these services are approved for use and that data is handled in accordance with your organisation's privacy and security requirements.

Where possible, only provide integrations with the minimum access required for the workflow.

Availability

Zapier functionality is provided through the Equator Zapier App.

If you cannot see the Zapier functionality described in this documentation, contact your system administrator to confirm that the App is available and installed and that you have the required permissions.

Limits

Zapier connects to eBECAS/EDMISS through the API v2. As a result, each API request made by a Zapier workflow counts towards your organisation’s API v2 usage limits.

Zapier may also apply its own usage limits depending on your Zapier plan and configuration.
