The headers and footers are Templates of type Section that can be embedded into other templates.
Create Header and Footer Section Templates

Go to the Create or Edit page for the template that you want to add the headers to.

Select the object and desired channel. Select Section as the type.
Selecting an Object will make the template to be available on templates that belong to the same object. Choose ‘Global’ if you want to the template to be available for all templates. The template will only be available for templates set with the same channel.

Enter the details and content.

Click Save and Exit button to finish.
Add Headers and Footers to Templates

Go to the Create or Edit page for the template that you want to add the headers to.

Select the section templates that you want to use as header and footer.

Click Save and Exit button to finish.
Full-width headers and footers that extend beyond the default page margins are not supported in the NextGen App. To use such headers and footers, create the template using Microsoft Word.
